Health Coaching HELPS INDIVIDUALS SET AND ACHIEVE HEALTH GOALS THROUGH PERSONALIZED GUIDANCE, sUPPORT, and MOTIVATION FOR LASTING LIFESTYLE CHANGES.
Hi there! If you are at all like me then you are skeptical of anyone declaring themselves a health coach. Well, just wait until you learn that I am chronically ill and in fact not healthy! Yikes.
Before becoming chronically ill I lived in NYC pursuing a soley creative life studying comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade and acting at the Wynn Handman Studio, while waiting tables at Tavern on the Green.
After becoming chronically ill I moved into my parents basement became a public school bus driver and then a Registered Behavior Technician. I could only work part-time and spent most off time sleeping.
Now I am a health coach and stand-up comedian.
Things I have had to navigate with my chronic illness:
Grief
Medical Bills and Applying to have bills reduced
Mobility Devices
Diet Changes
Pacing
Medical Leave/Disablility
Negative Societal Perception

My Health Journey
In March 2020, I got Covid in NYC. After a month of fever, body aches, and fatigue I thought I was better, but Long Covid began to present in July 2020. There are over 200 symptoms now associated with Long Covid and I have had almost all of them.
In 2021 I had to leave my life in NYC, due to my chronic illness. I struggled to eat and digest food and wouldn’t be here today if I did not have my parents.
I have struggled to work while ill and have had to navigate medical leave, ever changing insurance, and the many hoops that must be jumped in order to lower medical bills.
I have had to incorporate mobility devices like a cooking stool with wheels to help me continue to be able to make food even when my body is too exhausted to stand up. I wear compression socks, take many supplements, and have electrolyte water in hand at all times.
I am currently enrolled in the NIH RECOVER study and have participated in multiple trial drugs to help relieve symptoms or cure Long Covid.
I know first hand how terrifying it is to lose your health. I have grieved and greived and will probably keep grieving my life when I was well and did not have to make any adjustments.

“In April 2024, Camrynne Sullivan reached out on a Long COVID Recovery Facebook forum seeking individuals interested in receiving coaching while she pursued her certification. Connecting with her was one of the best things I did concerning my recovery journey. Camrynne is not only a cheerleader who supports me in forming small achievable goals, but she is also instrumental in helping me find my voice to advocate for myself with my care providers.
I have been suffering from the effects of Long Covid since 2020. I have not been able to work since 2021. With Camrynne’s help, I now have a plan to manage navigating my illness and my recovery. I once told her she was like a skilled chef. When we meet, she draws out the ingredients of my “recovery casserole” She reorganizes them, prepares them, plates them up, and hands them back to me as a finished meal. I had no idea I possessed those ingredients within me! During our conversation, she asked relevant questions that I hadn’t considered before. She helped me uncover insights and Motivations I didn’t realize I held.
It’s an understatement to say that I’ve been drowning in despair over my illness and lack of recovery for the past four years. Camrynne’s calm and encouraging support has been my lifeline. She responds with genuine curiosity and warm compassion, making me feel heard, supported, validated, and truly seen. Before meeting Camrynne, I researched, read, and gathered information from various sources, compiling it into files on my computer. While I was able to seek out information on my own, I struggled to synthesize it into my life or determine how to apply the knowledge I had collected. Having Camrynne’s perspective and lived experience in reach has been beyond helpful in putting action to the information.
Representation matters. It matters even more when suffering from an ‘invisible’ illness. She has been able to provide support in ways that my medical doctors have not. The value she adds to my recovery is immeasurable. With her assistance, I actively participate in my recovery, and I have even been able to plan my path to independence.”
